DKM medical is a limited company that provides a variety of services around spinal conditions. We offer virtual consultations with Mr Vasileios Arzoglou – consultant neurosurgeon, organise teaching events & sessions, medico-legal advice, custom made 3D analysis and implant design / import and distribution.

DKM Medical works closely with Spire hospital in Hull and Onehealth group in Sheffield, helping in the recovery phase from the COVID-19 pandemic.

About Us.

Mr Arzoglou is a Consultant Neurosurgeon with a special interest in minimal invasive spinal surgery. He has been working in the NHS since 2011 and is on the special register of the General Medical Council for Neurosurgery. His current post is as an NHS consultant neurosurgeon at Hull Royal Infirmary.

His higher specialist training in complex spine was undertaken at the neurosurgical department of the Royal London Hospital and King’s College Hospital in London. He also had a hybrid, orthopaedic complex spinal training as a senior fellow in spinal surgery in the University Hospital of Cardiff. Mr Arzoglou has extensive experience in treating patients with complex spine disorders. He has an excellent academic and teaching background with numerous scientific papers published in peer reviewed international Journals.

Very approachable, didn’t rush me into a decision, operation very efficiently organised by Mr Arzoglou & his team, he must be a very very skilled surgeon as I went from hardly being able to walk before the op to walking at least a mile a day within 48 hours of the op! & from almost “eating” painkillers to none – quite incredible. I can only thank him & his team at Spire hospital for the care & skill shown to me throughout the diagnosis period through to the operation. If there is one area of the whole process that could be improved it would be in the area of post op physiotherapy which didn’t go as smoothly as it could have done but it would be churlish to focus on that when everything else was quite honestly – brilliant.
